Cartier was founded in 1847, and introduced their first timepiece collection in 1904.  The line was established when founder Louis-Francois Cartier produced a watch as a tribute to the courage of Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont.  This watch was the model for many acclaimed lines to come.  Each Cartier timepiece is meticulously hand-crafted and exudes quality in every sense of the word.
